The CUT score is a new cancer risk score for thyroid nodules suitable in any clinical setting. The CUT is an acronym indicating Clinical, Ultrasonographic and Thyroid cytology aspects of a thyroid nodule. The CUT score has been created to help clinicians with thyroid nodule preoperative malignancy risk assessment. This tool is intentionally developed on easily avalaible clinical data in order to allow physicians to apply the ‘‘CUT’’ score in any clinical setting using basic US technology.
