Support Base is a smartphone app designed to support frontline workers receiving clinical treatment for PTSD and other mental health conditions. The app includes core elements adapted from an evidence-based, gold-standard PTSD treatment program (UNSW Traumatic Stress Clinic). Support Base is intended to enhance the client’s skill-building and understanding of face-to-face program content, through engagement with a range of psychotherapeutic components along with guidance from a skilled therapist.
