Kōrero Māori is designed to collect speech recordings to train computers to understand spoken languages through machine learning. This project started in an effort to automate the transcription of thousands of hours of te reo Māori archives and to enhance access to Māori media. Our goal is to provide te reo Māori language processing tools to Māori to help the revitalisation and promotion of te reo Māori.
