Acute Knee Injury Navigator

The KneeIN app is a practice support tool for primary care providers (non-specialists) that facilitates appropriate care and referral of adult patients with acute knee injuries. KneeIN consists of a sequence of clinical triage questions that guide primary care providers to direct care and referral (specialist, allied health, diagnostic imaging) based on injury severity – identifying appropriate categories of care (e.g., emergent care, time-sensitive specialist care, time-sensitive skilled consultation, exercise and education, or self-management) rather than a specific diagnosis.
