German noun genders that stick

der, die or das? German nouns carry a gender you cannot reliably guess, and getting it wrong doesn't stay contained — the article is wrong, then the adjective ending, then the pronoun. It's the most audible marker of a non-native speaker, and there's no shortcut around it. You learn them one word at a time. wieder does that one job, properly. HOW IT WORKS Each noun is a card.
