BNWAS is a personal watch-discipline aid for mariners who want a simple, reliable alertness timer on their iPhone. It is inspired by the Bridge Navigational Watch Alarm System concept used on commercial vessels, but this app is a personal tool — not certified navigation or safety equipment. HOW IT WORKS Set the interval between alertness checks (3, 6, 9, or 12 minutes) and start your watch. The app runs a countdown.
