Art takes the floor

Vernis — your art companion at the museum. Point your iPhone at an artwork — Vernis recognises it and tells you its story, like a passionate critic whispering a secret in your ear. Not an encyclopedia entry. A story. — NO PARTNERSHIP NEEDED — Louvre, Orsay, Prado, MoMA, Tate, Uffizi or the small gallery around the corner. Check your museum's coverage in the app before you go. — OFFICIAL SOURCES — Over 7 million artworks. Stories are built on the open data of museums and institutions: Smithsonian, Harvard Art Museums, Rijksmuseum, Te Papa, Europeana and more. Everything traced, everything sour…
