Most arcade sports games fake the skill. Vault makes you time all three phases of a real pole vault — and the bar keeps rising until you miss. Every attempt is one skill loop, three taps: RUN-UP. Tap to start the sprint. A power meter sweeps up and down — lock it high, but not maxed. Too little and your plant is weak; a full overrun is a foul and a wasted attempt. PLANT.
