The Board Game with Loops

Surakarta is a classic strategy game from the city of Solo on Java, Indonesia. Two sides of twelve pieces each face off on a 6×6 grid. What makes it special are the eight loops around the edges: only a piece that travels through at least one of these loops can capture. This creates a game with a movement all its own — calm in its build-up, surprising in its turns. Lingkar brings this game to iPhone and iPad in a modern, lovingly crafted edition.
