Solid-state cassette recorder

Kasetofon is a cassette recorder, not a list of voice memos. Load a blank tape, press REC, and watch the reels turn and the needle swing. Takes are written straight to 16-bit WAV — mono or stereo, at 44.1, 22 or 8 kHz — and they stay on your device, visible in the Files app. RECORDING • Keep recording with the screen locked. A Live Activity holds the spinning reels, the running time and a STOP key on the Lock Screen. • Tapes stretch as you talk.
