Bloomwash is a watercolor app that behaves like the real thing. Every stroke runs through a physical simulation of water and pigment on paper, so the paint spreads, pools, granulates, and dries the way it does on a real sheet. You are not applying a filter. You are painting wet paint and watching it move. Load the brush with water and color, lay a wash, and the pigment settles into the tooth of the paper. Touch a wetter brush into a damp area and it blooms outward. Let two colors meet while they are still wet and they bleed into one another. Come back with a drier brush and the stroke breaks …
