Plain text, nothing else

Plaintxt is a text editor. Open a file, type, save. That is the whole app. It reads and writes plain text, Markdown, and code files in place, so the file stays where it was and other apps see your changes. Line, word, and character counts sit at the bottom. Code and Markdown get light syntax colouring. • Opens .txt, .md, and source files in place • Line, word, and character counts • Syntax colouring for code and Markdown • No account, no sync, no tracking • iPhone, iPad, and Mac Plaintxt collects nothing. Your files never leave your device unless you move them.
