This application provides the ability to compute the performance (aka 'figure of merit') of a parabolic reflector antenna. To use this app you will need to measure the noise produced (dB above cold sky noise) by the Sun at the desired radio frequency. To compute results please enter: Antenna Site location; Antenna ID; Antenna Size; Antenna configuration; Polarization of test; Frequency of test; and Antenna elevation.
