Euchre the way it gets played at the kitchen table. Four players, two teams, ten points to win, and a jack that outranks the ace. You and your partner sit across from each other against two opponents. Someone names trump, everyone plays five cards, and taking three tricks takes the hand. Take all five and it is a march. Think your hand is strong enough on its own, go alone and play it out for four. Every game is stick the dealer. If the bidding comes back around and nobody has called, the dealer has to pick a suit.
