Microcavity is used to control the whispering-gallery-mode (WGM) microresonators based miniature sensing system wirelessly. As the photonic sensor of this system, WGM resonators have features of ultra-high quality (Q) factors and small mode volumes, which have found broad applications in photonics, such as cavity quantum electrodynamics, optomechanics, bio/chemical sensors , nonlinear optics, microlasers and non-Hermitian optics.
