Break the creative block. Find the inspiration. Oblique Strategies is a card-based method for promoting creativity, created by Brian Eno and Peter Schmidt and first published in 1975. Each card offers a challenging constraint intended to help artists break creative blocks by encouraging lateral thinking. Use the whole deck, or draw a single card when a dilemma occurs in your work.
