Football predictions explained

socometrix shows the probabilities of a home win, a draw and an away win for upcoming football matches. For every prediction the app names the factors that carried it, in plain sentences. Team strength carried forward across several seasons and goal difference per match both feed into the figure in a way the reader can follow. The record covers every published prediction and how it turned out. Misses stay visible. A comparison with the plain table favourite puts the balance in context.
