The eDAR India application is a horizontally integrated platform connecting the Police, Transport, Road Owning Agency, and Health Departments to enable timely information exchange among stakeholders across States and Union Territories. The primary responsibility for data entry lies with the Police Department. Once accident details are recorded, automated alerts are sent via email/SMS to the Transport and Highways Departments.
