Point of Care Ultrasound (POCUS) is a new use of an older imaging modality. Clinicians and health care professionals employ this revolutionary imaging modality at the bedside to improve clinical care and provide faster and more efficient diagnoses. POCUS has its roots in Emergency Medicine and evaluating trauma at the bedside.
