Kanthasth ("कंठस्थ") is a memory based translation software that was developed by the Department of Official Language with the help of C-DAC, Pune. The Kanthasth 1.0 was launched on 18th August 2018, in 11th World Hindi Conference (WHC) in Mauritius by the then Hon'ble Minister of State for Home Affairs in Mauritius, 2018. Kanthasth 2.0 was launched by Honourable Union Home and Cooperation Minister Shri Amit Shah on 14th September on the occasion of Hindi Diwas held in Surat, Gujarat.
