EPS Korea Section was established under Government of Nepal, Ministry of Labour and Employment, Department of Foreign Employment on 26th July 2007 (7th Shrawan 2064), by the decision of ministerial level agreement (MOU) to ease the process of sending Nepali Workers to Korea to resolve distortion in the labour market caused by Industrial Trainee System(launched in Dec. 1993 and 18 sending countries).
