Background National Board RCI-1 / NB-263 requires that each Repair Inspector and Authorized Inspector performing Codes duties shall maintain an Inspector Diary and monitor the Certificate Holder's quality program on a continual basis. The purpose of the diary is to provide a record of the Inspector's activity and to support continuity of inspections. The inspector diary shall be available at the location of inspection and must be maintained for a minimum of 5 years.
