This app can help you learn and practice different sign language transcription systems and orthographies. Check out the tracing practice and quiz modes. Currently, there are handshapes from HamNoSys, ASLWrite, Stokoe Notation, Sutton SignWriting, and one handshape font. HamNoSys, AKA the Hamburg Notation System, was designed for phonetic transcription of sign language in minute detail for research purposes.
