We focus on how rising seas could affect local communities, landmarks, and coastlines under an extreme sea-level rise scenario, used to plan the construction of the Thames Barrier in London, UK. Using publicly available elevation data, our app provides a simple interface so everyone – from students to planners – can better understand coastal innundation risks. This knowledge can help communities prepare, adapt, and make informed decisions about the future.
