How much warmth has accumulated at your location? Grassland Temperature Sum shows a temperature-based guide for beekeepers and gardeners who want to put plant development into context. Choose a location and follow its GTS since January 1. The calculation uses the mean of four daily OpenWeather temperature readings. Positive values count with a factor of 0.5 in January, 0.75 in February and 1.0 from March onwards. Growing Degree Days are also shown, using a base of 10°C/50°F.
