Build upon your Korean

Over half of all Korean words are based on Hanja, or Chinese characters. As you study Korean, you'll learn tons of them. For each new Hanja-based Korean word you learn, there's probably another Korean word you already know which has the same Hanja! Making this mental connection to a Korean word with the same root is a very helpful mnemonic. It strengthens your memory of the existing word and makes you more likely to remember the new word.
