A UK app built from real experience — for anyone who wants to know the people they love are okay. I built DailyOK after my mum's dementia diagnosis, when my dad suddenly became her carer. After she moved into full-time care, he was living alone for the first time in decades — completely independent, but suddenly on his own. I didn't want a quick "you okay?" to turn into another phone call neither of us always had time for; I just wanted one simple way to know he was alright each day.
