GRIDCON shows Ireland's electricity grid as a car dashboard, live and at a glance, in bright plasma colour. Twin gauges read system frequency and demand. Warning lights come on when wind passes 40 percent of generation, when the island starts importing power, when SNSP passes 70 percent and when carbon climbs. A spinning wind turbine and a glowing sun show what the weather is giving the grid at this moment. Every figure is real.
