Anyone who dives or snorkels regularly sees animals others will never lay eyes on. Oceanspotter is the app for capturing those encounters. After your dive, you log what you saw: a photo or video, the species (picked from a database of more than a thousand), location, depth and count. The app generates a QR code for your sighting. Dive partners who saw the same animal scan that code with the camera function and confirm the sighting as eyewitnesses. The more confirmations, the more credible the record.
