The Punjab State Agricultural Marketing Board (PSAMB), commonly referred to as the Punjab Mandi Board, was constituted on 26 May 1961 under the Punjab Agricultural Produce Markets Act, 1961. The Board’s primary responsibility is to regulate, manage, and oversee the marketing system involving the sale, purchase, storage, and processing of both processed and unprocessed agricultural commodities.
