ippun is a 60-second kanji workout for foreign learners of Japanese. If you already know your kanji individually but still stall when reading real Japanese — that gap between "I recognize 学" and "I can read 学校, 学生, 学習, 学者" — that's the gap ippun is built to close. Each run is one minute. Eight rounds. In every round, you're given an anchor kanji at the center and a tray of drifting characters. Find the real compounds. Match them before the timer runs out.
