SolarDial: Sunrise & Sunset

Golden hour and daylight times

SolarDial is a sun almanac for your iPhone. Save a place — pick a city, enter coordinates or use your current location — and see when the sun rises and sets, when solar noon falls, and when the golden and blue hours begin and end. Every sun time is computed on your iPhone from the place's coordinates with the standard NOAA solar equations. There is no account and nothing to sign in to. In the app's tests, sunrise and sunset for London, New York and Reykjavík match published almanac times to within three minutes; close to the poles the times are less exact.
