TalkingTiles turns a tap on a picture into a spoken word, so a child who does not speak can still say what they think, want, and feel. Tap a tile and it says its word out loud. Tap a few more and they line up in the strip along the top; press play and the whole sentence is spoken at once. There is nothing to set up first and nothing to learn before you start.
