Knead Japanese sweets by hand

Japanese sweets do not combine on their own. When two of a kind end up side by side, the cluster is outlined with a pulsing gold ring. Press and hold on it, watch the ring fill, and knead the whole cluster by hand into the next sweet. An azuki bean becomes konpeito, then dango, daifuku, manju, dorayaki and on up, all the way to a grand kagami-mochi. THE KNEAD IS THE GAME Dropping a sweet only sets out an ingredient.
