Two variations of Strobe Tuner

The Lissajous is simple: x - the tone being played y - the nearest tone to what you are playing. It plots x/y and you get the Lissajous. The second kind is more traditionally similar to a strobe tuner. It is more complex under the hood. Both are simple and effective. They are exactly the information you need at a glance without having to think about anything. You can see immediately whether or not you are getting closer or further from being in tune.
