Three-Handed Whist

By HooveySoft on AppTrack Ninja.

Whist is a fast, elegant card game for three players where Clubs are always trump and the player who wins the most tricks comes out ahead. Deal thirteen cards to each player and set aside a thirteen-card widow. Before play begins you decide your fate: peek at the widow and swap your whole hand for it, gamble on a sight-unseen blind swap, or stand pat with what you were dealt. Then play out thirteen tricks — follow suit when you can, slip in a Club to steal a trick, and read your opponents to win more than they expect. First to fifteen points takes the game.
