Glimm is an app for doing nothing. A single point of light on a black screen. It drifts on its own, breathes slowly and has a quiet task: it is a lantern lighter. Scattered across the sky lie lanterns that have almost gone out, and it slowly wanders from one to the next, lingers, and kindles them. They fade again, so its round never ends. You can help: carry it to a lantern, or fling it through one. But what you light quickly fades faster than what it kindles with care.
