The day the garage burns or the truck box disappears, the insurer asks for a list: make, model, serial, value, proof you owned it. Almost nobody has that list. The rest of the year the questions are smaller but constant: where is the impact driver, who has the chainsaw, and which battery platform is the money already in. ToolCrib is that list, kept as you go. EVERY TOOL, WITH ITS IDENTITY Name, brand and model, serial number, replacement value, a photo, the purchase date.
