You are fourteen years old, in a borrowed kart, with a regional title to win. Pit Wall is a driver-career motorsport manager: one driver, seven rungs, and a long way up. THE LADDER National karting, European karting, world karting, then Formula 4, 3, 2 and 1. You start slower than most of the grid and a year older every season. Nobody hands you a good seat.
