Just Hashi teaches you to play Hashi properly, then gets out of the way. Hashi is a puzzle of islands and bridges. Each island shows a number, and that is exactly how many bridges must touch it. Bridges run straight up, down, left or right, never cross, and at most two join any pair of islands. When you are done, every island has to belong to one connected network.
