Hockey Shoot-out runs a shoot-out the way the rules describe it, for umpires, technical officials and team managers. THE 8-SECOND TIMER Tap anywhere the moment the whistle goes. The screen floods green and counts down in tenths; at exactly 8.000 seconds it flips red, beeps and buzzes. Stray touches are ignored while it runs. The count is taken off the clock, so it is right even if the phone locks mid-attempt.
