Shut the Box is usually decided by the dice. This one is decided by what you do with them. The computer is dealt your exact throws, in your exact order. Nobody gets luckier dice — the only thing separating the two scores is how the throws were used. HOW IT WORKS Roll the dice, then close numbered tiles that add up to the throw. Keep going until a throw has no legal move. Whatever is left standing is your score, and the lower the better. Close every tile and you have shut the box: a score of zero, and rare enough to celebrate. On a full box, a throw of 7 can be played five ways — 7, 6 + 1, 5 +…
