Every postcard pinned in Whisk's journal is proof of a lake crossed well. Whisk, a young otter, cannot brake on ice: one swipe and the otter slides in a straight line, stopping only when a boulder, a floe block or the shoreline gets in the way. Glide over every paper lantern, then dive into the den hole, and a card goes home with a picture of the lake and your glides against par. The lakes sit together on one big frozen map, and every lake you clear thaws the paths to its neighbours, so there is always more than one way forward.
