MachXDynamics lets you see shock waves form in a rocket nozzle, computed live on your iPhone. Drag the pressure ratio and watch the flow respond: the throat chokes, a shock forms inside the bell, the flow overexpands, matches, and finally leaves the exit underexpanded with shock cells in the jet.
