near is a wandering synthesizer built around four independently tuned oscillators that move through a shared Pitch Field. Position each oscillator manually, or use WANDER, ORBIT, and FOLLOW modes to introduce movement, variation, and evolving relationships between pitches. Inspired by lowercase ambient compositions, near was designed for creating drifting harmonies, imperfect drones, and slowly evolving soundscapes.
