Turn your iPad into a light table. Open an image, position your reference and trace its lines onto real paper. Move, resize and rotate the reference with your fingers. Negative view creates an inverted black-and-white image. Lock the workspace to keep touches from moving it; hold the lock for three seconds to unlock. With VoiceOver, use the unlock action. For printed references, switch to an evenly white light surface.
