As an important parameter for assessing kidney function, the glomerular filtration rate, or GFR, is widely used. With the eGFR app, you can calculate an estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) based on serum creatinine. For children and adolescents up to 18 years of age, the Schwartz formula is available. For adults, the CKD-EPI, MDRD and Cockcroft-Gault formulas can be used depending on the desired calculation.
